Allspice has the aroma of several spices including cloves, pepper, cinnamon and nutmeg. It is actually the dried, unripe berry of the evergreen tree pimenta dioica, grown mainly in Jamaica.

Uses:
Use Spencers Allspice in savoury foods such as stews and pickles or in sweet dishes such as jams and cakes to give a gentle, warm flavour.
