Cassia is a close relative to cinnamon. The evergreen's aromatic bark is ground to make this distinctively flavoured spice.

Uses:
Spencers Ground Cassia is used in many curry recipes, where the sweetness of cinnamon is not required. It is much thicker and stronger than cinnamon which makes it ideal for strong, spicy main dishes.
