Five-Spice - Chinese
Spencers Chinese Five-spice includes all of the taste sensations: sweet, sour, salty, pungent and bitter and it provides a signature flavour and aroma to Chinese savoury cooking. Our five-spice blend is dominated by star anise and balanced by the sweetness of cloves and cinnamon, the bite of pepper and the depth and warmth of fennel seeds.
Uses:
Use Spencers Chinese Five-spice to marinate meats and poultry and add to breadcrumb coatings before roasting or frying.
